David Milliner

David Milliner received the S.B. and M.Eng degrees from MIT in 2003 and 2004, respectively, both in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He is currently a Ph.D. student and Presidential Fellow at Georgia Tech. He received the 2001 MIT Bell Northern Research Undergraduate Laboratory Prize and was a 2004 MIT Masterworks Finalist for his VI-A thesis. David’s research interests are in the area of communication theory, with a focus on near-ML detection for MIMO channels and soft-output MIMO detection. He has held engineering positions at Axonn Corporation and Texas Instruments. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and a student member of the IEEE.
