Frederik Simoens
Frederik Simoens received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Ghent University, Belgium, in 2003. Since 2003, Frederik Simoens has been with the Telecommunications and Information Processing department (TELIN) at Ghent University, where he is pursuing a Ph.D. His research is sponsored by the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO-Vlaanderen). His main research efforts are focused on wireless communication over multiple antenna systems.
In May-June 2007 he was a visiting researcher at the Wireless Communication and Network Sciences Laboratory (WINS Lab), MIT, working on multiple access interference within a cooperative localization set-up.
