Guido Ferrante

Guido Carlo Ferrante (S’11–M’15) received the Ph.D. degree from both Sapienza Università di Roma, Italy, and CentraleSupélec, France, in 2015, and the M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees (both summa cum laude) from Sapienza Università di Roma, Italy, in 2011 and 2009, respectively, all in electrical engineering.
He will join Ericsson Research in Stockholm, Sweden, as an Experienced Researcher in the Fall of 2018. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Communication Systems group at Chalmers, Gothenburg, Sweden.
He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Wireless Communication and Network Sciences Laboratory (WINS Lab) within the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Wireless Networks and Decision Systems (WNDS) group at the  Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore.
His research interests include the application of information theory, signal processing, and statistical inference to wireless communications and networks.
Dr. Ferrante received the Italian National Telecommunications and Information Theory Group Award for the Ph.D. theses in the field of communication technologies in 2015 and the SUTD-MIT Postdoctoral Fellowship (2015–2017).
