Ulric Ferner received his B. Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2006. During this program he was consistently a Dean’s list student and he graduated first from over 400 undergraduates across the school’s nine engineering disciplines. In 2007 he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and he is currently working toward his Master’s degree with the Wireless Communication and Network Sciences Laboratory (WINS Lab) at MIT. His research interests are in wireless communications, specifically in localization, wide bandwidth communications, and cognitive radio.
